Advisory & Due DilIgence
Our team of seasoned experts begin every project by gaining a thorough understanding the brand we are working with. This is where we really get to know you and what your needs and vision are. We assess the project site(s) and assign a dedicated team leader and project manager. They will advise you of initial recommendations for signage types, project approaches, and potential opportunities for value engineering based on budgetary needs.
Code Research & Technical Site Survey
With your singular brand identity in mind, our team conducts a comprehensive site survey and presents custom tailored options to achieve maximum brand exposure. We will conduct specific city code and landlord research as well as a technical site survey that includes: site photographs, dimensions, measurements, site detail analysis, sign attachment analysis, and installation planning. A preliminary project estimate will be presented if needed.
Design & Engineering
Sparing no detail, our highly skilled graphic designers work closely with project management and engineering teams on structural, attachment, and sign engineering required by municipalities for permitting. Tyko’s skilled designers produce various renderings that take into account sign placement, attachment detail, lighting mechanisms and material callouts of each sign in the rendering. The result is an iterative process that defines the blueprint to achieve your desired aesthetic while meeting all requirements for permit procurement and fabrication.
Permitting
Our permit expediting teams are at your service, ready to answer questions about process and restrictions across any municipality. While we cannot control the response times of city permitting offices, we make this part of the process seamless and efficient by doing the necessary legwork ahead of time to ensure signage plans are to code and processed quickly and efficiently, minimizing return trips and unnecessary back and forth. Our permitting teams are highly experienced and stand ready to help clients through more complex master sign programs and variances filings.
Manufacturing
Tyko Sign Group has a differentiated manufacturing approach that combines our in-house capabilities with the best national and international outsourced solutions. This allows us to prioritize our clients, offering a variety of custom approaches and products without being limited to a single onsite factory of mass production. The manufacturing process involves quality control, crating, and shipping, which will all be coordinated by your dedicated project manager. Installation
Nationwide commercial signage installation is a fundamental pillar of our business at Tyko Sign Group. We can execute the installation of any type of sign, including channel letter signs, pylon signs, monument signs, architectural signs, and digital LED displays. We’ll work with you to organize all operational details and logistics between our field services team and your project site for a worry-free install. Final Inspection & Project Closeout
Once fabrication and installation are complete, we want to make sure you are truly impressed with a sophisticated, high-quality sign for your brand implementation. After getting your final sign off, we then complete a detailed checklist to make sure everything is in order. Completion photographs and passing final inspection with the city inspector are also part of the project closeout.
