Tyko was awarded the bid to outfit the newly remodeled 620,000-square foot retail center in Burbank with a new sign program. The project scope included a multitude of elegant signage and managing the extensive due diligence, permitting, engineering, and complicated logistics.
60” Free-Standing Channel Letters with Perforated Vinyl Faces
54” Suspended Trim-Cap Face Illuminated Channel Letters
45-Foot Curved LED Display Wired with HD Data and Audio Feeds
Monuments with Free-standing Face Illuminated Trim-Capless Letters
Internally Illuminated Monuments with Brushed Aluminum Faces & Acrylic Push Thru Letters
We created the design concept for the shopping center, drawing on inspiration from the aerospace legacy of the property. All of the monuments and directional signs were fabricated to resemble aircraft wings and tails. This was coupled with an elegant array of internally illuminated tenant signs that reimagined the look of directional signage.
The 3-year project culminated in 2021 with the addition of a 45-foot curved LED display at the heart of the property. The client thoroughly recognized our ability to deliver on what we promised. Marking one of the first major developments in the area, this remodel paved the way for attracting new economic activity in Burbank Empire.
