In the world of luxury supercars, there is no other name with a more storied history than Ferrari. So much so, that Ferrari does not easily allow private dealers to open new markets without a thorough vetting process. In 2006, one such dealer managed to secure a license to be the sole operator in California and he elected Tyko Sign Group to help him with his extensive signage program across 5 locations.
Edge Lit Letters
Situated among some of the most affluent neighborhoods in Southern California, the design and build of these dealerships and service centers reflected the same level of elegance that you would expect from the Italian automotive brand. It was without a doubt that the exterior signage be captured in edge lit format with a smooth mirror-polished stainless steel finish. The 12-foot tall monument was designed and implemented with the image of a Ferrari body in mind. Using push-through acrylic for the logo and powder coating the slender face with the brand’s signature candy red, Rosso Corsa, it was truly a sleek visual for the storefront.
Between 2014 and 2018, Ferrari of Southern California renovated all of their spaces and even expanded to a Northern California location, for which Tyko was also involved in providing signage solutions.
