Artisan candy company Sugarfina became a hit sensation in 2012 and quickly moved from selling its product over-the-counter to establishing a brick and mortar presence in luxury shopping centers. Having a long-standing relationship with a major mall operator, Tyko was referred to Sugarfina’s design team to match the property’s signage guidelines with their logo.

The Sugarfina team originally wanted neon to accent their store designs – from their nameplate to the sections of the stores as patrons walked around, neon was the most appealing product to carry out their branding. Tyko’s team introduced Sugarfina to faux neon – a more efficient equivalent and more easily maintained product that does not sacrifice quality or the effect of traditional neon.
Fast forward a few years and 42 locations later, we have accomplished a collection successful of interior and exterior projects across the United States and Canada in both stand-alone and mall locations. From edge-illuminated letters and acrylic signs to painted murals and LED neon, our team showcased the best of our capabilities in Sugarfina’s buildouts.
