The popular chain of luxury hotels for dogs and cats began its expansion into Southern California in 2017 after its acquisition of Pooch Hotels. They were in need of a sign program that matched their service offerings of high-end kennels, grooming, sitting, day spa, and training. Occupying an average of 10,000 sq-foot properties, Wag embraced Tyko’s elegant design of its logo across a multitude of products.

Solution
The Wag design team approached us with their request for primary signage. Many of the specs were similar to what they had done in other buildouts, although the team specified wanting to do “something different and eye-catching”. Tyko addressed this need by presenting the Wag design team with all acrylic embedded LED letters that illuminated beautifully against the brand’s colors and cut the monotonous look of channel letters.
Result
What began as one location turned into 4 and counting. Wag has been so impressed by our ability to think outside the box and deliver on our promises, and they have continued to turn to us as they expand throughout Southern California.
